Fun Outdoor Living—Marketing & Brand Support Intern

The primary focus of this internship is marketing content production, brand experience, and storytelling and a secondary focus is internal communications and culture.

The internship is intentionally hands-on and execution-focused. The intern will not be responsible for sales outreach, lead management, customer calls, or independent campaign ownership.

Marketing and Content Responsibilities

  • Assist with social media post production, including short-form content for Instagram and Facebook
  • Research social media trends and identify ideas worth testing. 
  • Brainstorm content concepts using AI and other creative research tools.
  • Support video and photo shoots, including setup assistance, behind-the-scenes capture, and basic editing support
  • Capture intentional photography and video with attention to lighting, composition, framing, and storytelling.
  • Help create and organize visual assets (photos, videos, graphics) for marketing use
  • Maintain organized digital content libraries and marketing assets.
  • Draft and refine captions and messaging aligned with brand voice and customer motivation
  • Monitor and engage with social media content under supervision
  • Assist with basic Canva-based graphics and promotional materials
  • Support design center optimization, including signage updates, visual merchandising support, and content capture in showroom spaces
  • Assist with documenting showroom updates and transformations for marketing use
  • Observe how in-person brand presentation aligns with digital marketing efforts
  • Bring at least one original content idea to weekly marketing discussions. 
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions. 
  • Learn how marketing decisions are influenced by customer behavior and performance data.

Internal Communications Exposure 

  • Assist with internal communication or onboarding materials as needed
  • Observe how internal culture and brand values influence external marketing
  • Support company culture initiatives, employee communications, newsletters, and internal storytelling projects when opportunities arise.
